 from Perth Fitness BOOTCAMP prospects
:

1.) When are Boot Camp classes offered? What does each class consist of?

Perth Fitness BOOTCAMPS offer 45-minute high-intensity workouts for busy professionals that run every weekday. We run them inside or outside depending on the weather and you can start any time, not just at the start of the month.  

We offer 2 convenient training locations:
Scarborough Scout Hall in the mornings.
Woodlands Primary School
(in the undercover area) in the evenings.   

Below is a list of our current boot camp offerings:
6am Monday, Wednesday & combined Friday
6am Tuesday, Thursday & combined Friday
6pm Monday, Wednesday & Thursday  

9:30am Monday, Wednesday & Friday Starting Soon!!!
Please register your interest by calling or email me. We don't start til we have enough numbers.

All campers are required to select one class time and location for Boot Camp. If you sign up for a morning Boot Camp and can’t make it one morning, we may be able to fit you in for an evening session depending on numbers. You will need to check with the instructor if there is room in the group.

Arrival Time: Each Boot Camp instructor will arrive on location and open the doors 10 minutes before the official start of the workout. If it is your first workout you are expected to arrive 10 minutes early to fill in the pre-exercise questionnaire and have a chat to the instructor about past training and injuries. This is also the time for any campers to discuss any questions, comments, or concerns with the on-site trainer before the start of the workout.
Please know that our main focus is keeping our campers safe and healthy. Thus, each class begins with a complete, state-of-the-art warm-up emphasizing mobility and activation to best prevent unwanted injury and to allow for a more effective workout. Late arrivals will be allowed to join the workout session provided they are no more than 10 minutes late as we don’t want injuries caused by missing a proper warm-up.

Departure Time: Each boot camp instructor will remain for 5 to 10 minutes past the end of each workout to address any remaining personal questions or concerns. You may have questions about nutrition, holidays, or how best prevent nagging aches and pains and reduce soreness between workouts.
However, this program caters to busy professionals, and we do understand if you need to leave immediately at the end of each workout. In this case, if you need to do any corrective stretching or foam rolling we expect you to perform this at home for best results.

How fit do I have to be to join in?

You can be completely unfit and you will rapidly improve. There are many of our members who have not done any exercise for 10+ years and join us. It’s hard at first but you will increase your strength and fitness very rapidly. 
If you are already fit, you will be pushed harder with more advanced exercises and heavier weights alongside everyone else. I have had people 20 kilos overweight training alongside another Personal Trainer and both got a solid workout.

What’s the difference between Boot Camp and another group fitness class or going to the gym?

We spend time with each individual discussing your personal needs in regard to training, nutrition, injuries, and any other lifestyle factors. We are also available by phone or email to answer any of your questions. We are personal trainers and we do make sure you get the attention you deserve, but we also insist that you ask when you need help.
Every workout is different. We also use a wide variety of equipment and exercises that you may not usually do. Equipment includes your bodyweight, dumbbells, kettlebells, fitballs, skipping ropes, bands, wobble boards, medicine balls and anything else we can get our hands on.

Are there any breaks from Boot Camp, is there make up sessions and am I paying for them?

There will be no Boot Camp on any public holiday.
We break for 2 weeks at Christmas and just the public holidays at Easter.

Can I pause my membership if I’m going on holidays?

Yes. Just let the trainer know, and we will add the week(s) to the end of your membership. However, due to administration difficulties, billing will remain the same during this time. If you are away for more than a month we may make exceptions at our discretion.

How does the 2-week free trial process work?

We use the 2-week trial to assess if our program is the right long-term fit for each trial member. We like to know that you enjoy the program and the trainers, and that we get along well with you.
Trials are offered any time as long as the boot camp you wish to join has space for a new member. You are able to come along to a maximum of 3 sessions a week for your 2-week trial and you will receive a handout for each day you arrive containing information on stretching, nutrition and training.

All trial members must complete a pre-exercise questionnaire before they start their first boot camp session.
We reserve the right to not allow everyone into our program. We have a fun training environment so complainers, whiners and those who bring bad energy and disrupt the group are NOT welcome!

How much does the program cost?

Perth Fitness BOOTCAMPS run a monthly membership program. Campers are required to commit to either a 1, 3 or 12-month billing agreement at a membership level that best caters to their schedule, goals and budget as outlined below. 
Please note we offer a 20% discount to full-time students in high-school and university.
We also offer 20% off immediate family members that come along. So if there are 2 or 3 of you interested, you all get 20% off.

12 Month Membership

Instant Results 3 Times Per Week Package: $179 per month
Busy Persons 2 Times Per Week Package: $139 per month

* If you are unsure how long you would like to stay with the program, sign up for the 12 month membership and cancel any time. All you will pay is the difference between the 12 month and the month-to-month rate! That way YOU can commit to getting your dream body, but if your situation changes you have the flexibility to get out.

Busy Persons 2 Times Per Week Package: $159 per month

1 Month or Month to Month Membership

Instant Results 3 Times Per Week Package: $239 per month

All payments are to be made by direct debit from your mastercard or visa card one month in advance and recurring payments will be debited one month after the first payment.

If you want to downgrade your membership, you must finish your initial contract first.

What do I bring to class?

Each camper is expected to bring the follow items to each workout:

- A water bottle

- A towel, preferably a full size one for when we are outdoors

- A smile, even if it is 6am

What do I wear to class?

You should wear comfortable, breathable clothing. Please make sure to wear clothing that is not too big- we need to see your body move at different joint positions during the workout so we can best assess your form and technique and make the necessary corrections.

In addition, please wear shoes that are designated for athletic purposes- often referred to as running, cross-training, basketball, or tennis shoes. Some common brands are Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Brooks, Asics, etc. Please feel free to ask your on-site trainer for his/her recommendations for proper footwear for boot camp workouts.

How does nutrition factor into the program?

Our goal is not to overwhelm, but rather to ease you into adopting healthier dietary habits for long-term success. All trial members will receive a complimentary nutrition quick-start plan that will provide basic introductory nutrition guidelines to get the ball rolling in the right direction.

At the end of the trial period, all new paying members will be provided with The Carb Rotation Diet from Registered Dietician Jayson Hunter. These consist of 3 months of updated done-for-you belly fat-burning meal plans available from the trainer once payment has been made.

What is the different between Personal Training and Boot Camp Training?

Our One-on-One Personal Training services provide:

-       30, 45 & 60 minute workouts that cater to busy people looking for flexible scheduling, progress tracking, corrective exercise and state of the art custom program design

-       GREATER attention, support, motivation, and accountability in pursuit of your goal(s).

-       More personal workouts that focus on your specific needs.

Our Boot Camp program provides:

-       45-minute high intensity boot camp-style workouts before or after work for busy men and women seeking a more cost-effective fitness solution to burn fat and lose weight fast.

-       This high-intensity interval training program features total body workouts with a core emphasis that will match you with the appropriate exercises for your current fitness level in a fun and exciting team environment of up to 20 people.

Where Boot Camp workouts provide a larger focus on metabolic circuit training for rapid weight loss, personal training workouts combine metabolic circuit training PLUS a strength training component to boost lean muscle gain and athletic performance, and more variety of high-intensity cardio exercises.

In addition, personal training sessions pay greater attention to corrective stretching and self-massage to accelerate results and bolster injury prevention due to the availability of additional attention.

Finally, Personal Training clients have access to more unique training tools and exercise options that are not logistically possible in the large group format of Boot Camp workouts.

At 49yrs old i have never been so fit, healthy and strong!

Daniel Squats Double His Body Weight!

‘trav. i remember the day i walked into the gym and thought to myself “im pretty over this, i cant get stronger, i cant eat enough, im feeling sick as a dog nauseous, this is not worth it. all i wanna do is squat 100 and im never going to get there.” that day you walked in and walked up to me at the squat rack and said "load up the bar with 100. you can do it. and i dont want any weakness. give it everything you got”.
and i did. it felt crazy good. you walked me over to the bench and said “load it up with 85″ i was like no way im doing this”. the bar went down, the bar came back up. it felt amazing. i big singled two big exercises.
i thought to myself “if only i could rep those weights for 5 id never want to be any stronger.”

from that day i have kept working, and eating, and working, and eating. i stepped off the bench today… 50×15, 60×12, 70×5, 80×5, 80×5, 85×5.
walked (stumbled) off the squat rack on friday.. 120 for 4. the 200% club on the squat has been my dream ever since i learned that squats were king. ive accomplished my goals and its beyond me belief. i owe it all to you for planting that seed and giving me the kick in the pants i needed to keep at it. appreciate it mate. i feel on top of the world. cant wait to see you in there.
